Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine Seizure and Arrest in Frederick
Frederick, MD – A routine traffic stop conducted by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office on August 4, 2026, resulted in the seizure of cocaine and the arrest of a Baltimore man. At approximately 9:48 p.m., a deputy observed multiple traffic violations on Route 26 near Monocacy Boulevard, prompting the stop.
During the encounter, a K9 unit was deployed, which produced a positive alert for narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed crack cocaine, cocaine residue, and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 51-year-old Shelly Hungerford Reboulet from Inwood, West Virginia, and her passenger, 51-year-old William Eldridge of Frederick, were each issued criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS).
The situation escalated when a second passenger, 49-year-old David Green from Baltimore, was found to be in possession of approximately 16 grams of cocaine concealed in two bags. Green was arrested and subsequently transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
Green faces multiple charges, including felony possession with intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (not cannabis), obstructing and hindering, altering physical evidence, and resisting arrest. Authorities continue to emphasize the importance of vigilant traffic enforcement as a means to combat drug-related activities in the community.
