Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine Seizure and Arrest in Frederick
Frederick, MD – A routine traffic stop on August 4, 2026, resulted in a significant drug bust in Frederick County. At approximately 9:48 p.m., a deputy from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle on Route 26 near Monocacy Boulevard after noticing several traffic violations. The encounter escalated when a K9 unit was deployed, leading to a positive alert for drugs.
During the subsequent search of the vehicle, law enforcement officials discovered crack cocaine, cocaine residue, and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 51-year-old Shelly Hungerford Reboulet from Inwood, WV, and her passenger, 51-year-old William Eldridge from Frederick, were both issued criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS).
The situation intensified with the arrest of another passenger, 49-year-old David Green of Baltimore. Deputies found two bags of cocaine, weighing approximately 16 grams, hidden on his person. Green was charged with multiple offenses including possession with intent to distribute, a felony, and several misdemeanors such as obstructing and hindering, altering physical evidence, and resisting arrest. He is currently being held without bond at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
