Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine Seizure and Arrest in Frederick
Frederick, MD – A routine traffic stop on August 4, 2026, resulted in the seizure of cocaine and the arrest of a Baltimore man, underscoring ongoing concerns about drug-related activity in the area. At approximately 9:48 p.m., a deputy from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office initiated the stop on Route 26 near Monocacy Boulevard after witnessing several traffic violations.
During the stop, a K9 unit was deployed, which conducted a scan of the vehicle and alerted deputies to the presence of illegal substances. A thorough search of the vehicle led to the discovery of crack cocaine, cocaine residue, and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 51-year-old Shelly Hungerford Reboulet from Inwood, West Virginia, and passenger William Eldridge, also 51 and from Frederick, received criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS).
However, the situation escalated when deputies discovered two bags of cocaine, totaling approximately 16 grams, on passenger David Green, 49, of Baltimore. Green was subsequently arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond. He faces multiple charges, including felony possession with intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (not cannabis), obstructing and hindering, altering physical evidence, and resisting arrest.
This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat drug-related crimes in Frederick County.
