School Skills Program at C. Burr Artz Public Library

Frederick County, Maryland – The C. Burr Artz Public Library is excited to announce a new weekly program, “School Skills,” designed specifically for caregivers and their young children, ages 3 to 5. This engaging initiative will take place on Tuesdays from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM, beginning September 22, 2026. The program aims to foster early learning and development in a fun and interactive environment.

The “School Skills” program is centered around building essential school readiness skills while also promoting social and emotional growth among participants. Caregivers are encouraged to join their children in activities that not only entertain but also educate, laying a strong foundation for their future learning experiences. This initiative underscores the library’s commitment to supporting families and enhancing early childhood education in our community.

Sessions will be held in the Programming Room (CBA) at the library, providing a welcoming space for families to explore together.
