Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Invites Community to National Night Out
Frederick County, MD – The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is excited to invite residents to join them for National Night Out, a nationwide event aimed at strengthening community-police relationships and fostering neighborhood camaraderie. The event will take place tomorrow, August 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Urbana District Park, located at 3805 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704.
This year’s celebration promises a variety of engaging activities for attendees of all ages. At 6:00 p.m., community members can join deputies for a friendly kickball game, encouraging everyone to participate and enjoy some active fun. In addition to the game, families can look forward to free face painting, opportunities to explore police and emergency vehicles, and a chance to meet the dedicated deputies of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office along with valuable community partners.
Food enthusiasts will not be disappointed, as several local food trucks, including Mt Airy Mocha, Pizza Pretzel Creations, and Glamourview Creamery, will be on-site offering a delicious array of culinary options. This event serves as a perfect opportunity for residents to connect with law enforcement, learn more about the services available in their community, and enjoy a vibrant evening filled with food, fun, and fellowship.
