Interlibrary Loan Service Transition to New Platform

Frederick County residents are advised of an important update regarding the statewide interlibrary loan service, known as Marina. Starting Monday, August 31, the service will transition to a new and improved platform designed to enhance user experience and streamline the borrowing process. This upgrade aims to provide residents with better access to resources from libraries across the state, allowing for a more efficient sharing of materials.

In preparation for this transition, requests through the current system will be accepted until Sunday, August 23. During the transition period, from Monday, August 24 to Sunday, August 30, access to Marina will be temporarily unavailable. Library users are encouraged to plan accordingly and submit their requests before the cutoff date.
