According to a recent announcement from the Town of Mount Airy, crews will be seen working in these zones, and residents can expect to see utility markings and vehicles marked with “Flight Fiber.”
The installation process will involve digging small sections and using directional boring techniques to lay fiber wires and boxes within existing utility easements throughout local neighborhoods. The town has assured residents that any grass areas disturbed during the installation will be repaired to the best of the crews’ ability.
