Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine Seizure and Arrest in Frederick
Frederick, MD – A routine traffic stop on August 4, 2026, escalated into a significant drug-related arrest in Frederick County when a deputy from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office intercepted a vehicle on Route 26 near Monocacy Boulevard. The stop occurred around 9:48 p.m. after the deputy observed multiple traffic violations.
During the traffic stop, a K9 unit was deployed, resulting in a positive alert for narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered crack cocaine, cocaine residue, and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 51-year-old Shelly Hungerford Reboulet from Inwood, West Virginia, and her passenger, 51-year-old William Eldridge of Frederick, were each issued criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS).
However, the situation intensified with the arrest of a third occupant, 49-year-old David Green from Baltimore. Authorities recovered approximately 16 grams of cocaine concealed in his possession. Green was taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he faces multiple charges, including felony possession with intent to distribute and several misdemeanors related to obstructing justice and resisting arrest. He is currently held without bond.
