Mount Airy, MD – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10076, in partnership with the Town of Mount Airy, will host a Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Main Street Plaza, where residents are invited to gather and pay tribute to those who have served in the military.
To accommodate the event, Main Street will be closed from Center Street to Hood Street. Local officials encourage all community members to attend and honor the sacrifices made by veterans in service to the nation. Following the ceremony, veterans are invited to visit the VFW Post headquarters located across the street.
