The City of Frederick is excited to unveil a temporary art installation featuring metal-stamped Black-Eyed Susans, located in front of City Hall at 101 N. Court St. This initiative, a collaboration with the Frederick Arts Council (FAC), commemorates the organization’s 50th anniversary. Designed by local artist Lusmerlin, the installation celebrates five decades of artistic achievement while enhancing the public art landscape in downtown Frederick.

Earlier this year, the Frederick Arts Council organized a public art competition, inviting artists to creatively reinterpret Maryland’s state flower through a large-scale installation.
