National Night Out with Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Set for August 4

Frederick County, Maryland – The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce its participation in National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 4th, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Urbana District Park, inviting residents to join in an evening filled with fun, food, and friendly competition.

One of the highlights of the night will be a spirited Deputies vs. Community Kickball Game set to kick off at 6 PM. This interactive activity offers an opportunity for residents to engage with local law enforcement officers in a playful setting, whether by participating in the game or cheering from the sidelines.

In addition to the kickball game, attendees will have the chance to meet their local deputies and connect with various community partners. Families can explore law enforcement and emergency response vehicles up close, gaining insights into the tools and technology used in public safety. For the younger attendees, there will be free face painting to add to the evening’s festivities.

Food lovers will not be disappointed, as several local vendors will be on hand to provide delicious treats. Attendees can enjoy offerings from Pretzel and Pizza Creations, Mt Airy Mocha Mobile Coffee Bar, and Glamourview Creamery.
