The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in locating an 18-year-old missing teen, Kayla Schafer. The Sheriff’s Office reported that Kayla was last seen on September 20 at approximately 10 PM.
Kayla is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 125 pounds, with dark brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing gray sweatpants and a pink tube top, and she was carrying a handbag. She was last seen in the vicinity of Wigville Road in Thurmont.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Kayla’s whereabouts to reach out to Detective Faulconer at (301) 600-3620. The Sheriff’s Office is emphasizing the importance of community involvement in helping to locate the missing teenager.
