The City of Frederick has announced that the Carroll Creek parking garage will be closed on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the Elks Parade taking place in Downtown Frederick, both entrances and exits to the garage will be inaccessible during this time.

Residents, commuters, and visitors are advised to expect significant traffic delays in the area surrounding the parade route. To alleviate potential congestion, the City recommends planning ahead and considering alternate routes to navigate around downtown Frederick on that day.
