The City of Frederick is inviting local artists to submit proposals for the Freedom 250 City Art Poster Project, a collaboration with the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). This initiative aims to celebrate the city through original artwork that embodies its spirit and history.
Artists residing in Frederick are encouraged to participate, with the selected artist receiving a $500 honorarium. The winning artwork will not only be displayed at City Hall but will also feature prominently at the USCM’s 95th Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C., scheduled for January 2027.
