The event, titled “Movie and Sugar Skull Craft: Coco,” offers an engaging opportunity to learn about the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) while enjoying the beloved Disney•Pixar animated film “Coco.” This event is designed for families with children ages 5 and up, making it a perfect outing for the community.
Participants will start the afternoon by decorating sugar skulls, a traditional symbol of the Day of the Dead, between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. Following the craft session, families can settle in for a screening of “Coco,” which runs for 1 hour and 45 minutes and is rated PG.
