Yenya Bet Migeb, a new restaurant serving authentic Ethiopian cuisine, is set to open this week at 911 North East Street in Frederick, according to Montgomery County publication “MoCo Show.”
The restaurant will hold a soft opening on Saturday, July 11 at 4pm, taking over the former Jerk N Jive Caribbean Kitchen space.
The name Yenya Bet Migeb translates to “Meal from our humble home,” reflecting the restaurant’s focus on traditional homemade Ethiopian dishes and hospitality. The owners say the restaurant is inspired by Ethiopian and Zimbabwean heritage and aims to bring people together through authentic cuisine.
