The Town of Mount Airy is seeking community participation for its upcoming Trunk or Treat event scheduled for October 24. This festive occasion will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. and aims to provide a fun, safe environment for families to celebrate Halloween.
Residents, businesses, community groups, and nonprofits are invited to host “trunks” at the event, where they can decorate their vehicles and distribute treats to children. The Town encourages local involvement to enhance the festive atmosphere and create a memorable experience for families in the area.

In addition to the Trunk or Treat, the Town of Mount Airy has announced several other community events, including a Mayoral Candidates Forum on October 29, a Veterans Day Ceremony, and various Halloween-themed activities such as a Storytime and a Business Trick or Treat.
