Join the Literacy Council for High Beginner/Low Intermediate ESL Classes

The Literacy Council of Frederick County is excited to announce a series of High Beginner/Low Intermediate ESL classes designed for adults looking to enhance their English language skills. These engaging sessions will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the C. Burr Artz Public Library.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice conversation skills and improve pronunciation while exploring a variety of topics including holidays, food, travel, family, life skills, current events, American history, and common idioms. The classes cater to adults at different proficiency levels-beginner, intermediate, and advanced-ensuring a supportive learning environment for everyone involved.

While registration is encouraged by the Literacy Council to help with class planning, it is not mandatory for attendance. Interested individuals can easily register here.

Classes will be held in the STEM Lab of the library, making it a convenient location for community members. The Literacy Council remains committed to providing quality educational resources that promote language proficiency and cultural understanding among residents of Frederick County.
