Catalog Maintenance – 8/22

Scheduled Catalog Maintenance on August 22

Frederick County, Maryland – Residents are advised that the local library catalog will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday, August 22, from approximately 5:15 PM to 10 PM EST. This maintenance is necessary to ensure that the catalog and associated services continue to operate efficiently and effectively for all users.

During this maintenance window, access to the catalog will be restricted. Additionally, services that require a library card number, such as the popular Libby app for eBook and audiobook borrowing, will also be inaccessible. Library officials apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community’s understanding as they work to enhance the digital resources available to residents.

The Frederick County Public Libraries are committed to providing a seamless experience for all patrons. This scheduled maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to improve library services and ensure that residents have reliable access to the resources they need. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and complete any necessary transactions before the maintenance period begins.

For further updates and information, residents can visit the Frederick County Public Libraries website or follow their official social media channels. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our library services.
