FCOED’s Jodie Bollinger Recognized as a Maryland Manufacturing Star – Frederick Pulse

FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (FCOED) is pleased to announce that Department Director, Jodie Bollinger has been named a 2024 Maryland Manufacturing Star. This award is presented by the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) and Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) to honor individuals from business, education, government or nonprofit sectors who have made meaningful contributions to the state’s manufacturing industry.

With more than 25 years of experience in economic development, Jodie collaborates with a variety of industry partners in Frederick County and at the State level to support manufacturers and other sectors. She leads a team of business development specialists that assist with business location and expansion, permitting and zoning, financial incentives, workforce support, marketing, and additional entrepreneurial support services. Her efforts include a focus on building strong business networks and industry connections.

Frederick County is well represented on the 2024 Manufacturing Stars list, with an additional eight people from five companies also receiving awards:

  • Andrew Hrouda, ACDi
  • Emily English, PhD, Cartesian Therapeutics
  • Adam Sims, INPRO Technologies, Inc.
  • Peyton Carter, Karen Denn, Jay Otzelberger, Eeshika Singh, Phoenix Mecano

FCOED will celebrate these outstanding individuals at the awards ceremony in Baltimore on November 14, 2024.
