Urbana District Park to Host National Night Out Tomorrow
Frederick County, Maryland – Residents are invited to join local law enforcement and community partners for National Night Out, an annual event aimed at fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. The event is scheduled for tomorrow evening, August 1, at Urbana District Park located at 3805 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This year’s festivities will feature a variety of activities designed to engage families and promote community spirit. Attendees can participate in a community kickball game with deputies at 6:00 p.m., offering a unique opportunity for residents to interact with local law enforcement in a fun and relaxed setting. In addition to the game, there will be free face painting for children, as well as displays of police vehicles and specialty units, providing a hands-on experience for attendees.
As part of the event, guests can also explore emergency vehicles and meet the dedicated deputies of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. Local food trucks, including Mt Airy Mocha, Pizza Pretzel Creations, and Glamourview Creamery, will be on-site, serving delicious meals and treats to satisfy every palate.
National Night Out is a great way for families to connect with their community while enjoying a night of fun and camaraderie. Residents are encouraged to bring their loved ones and join in on the festivities, reinforcing the importance of community engagement and safety.
