Frederick County’s National Night Out Set for Tomorrow Evening
Frederick County residents are invited to participate in National Night Out, an annual event designed to strengthen community ties and promote public safety. Scheduled for tomorrow evening, this year’s festivities will take place at Urbana District Park, located at 3805 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Highlighting the evening will be a community kickball game hosted by local deputies, set to begin at 6:00 p.m. This engaging activity encourages community members to join in and play, fostering camaraderie and a spirit of fun among neighbors and law enforcement. Attendees are encouraged to come ready to participate and enjoy the friendly competition.
In addition to the kickball game, the event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities. Children can enjoy free face painting, while guests will have the opportunity to explore police vehicles and specialty units, as well as emergency vehicles. Local food trucks, including Mt Airy Mocha, Pizza Pretzel Creations, and Glamourview Creamery, will be on-site to provide delicious dining options.
This event serves as a fantastic opportunity for residents to meet their Frederick County Sheriff’s Office deputies and learn more about community safety initiatives. Residents of all ages are encouraged to bring their families and join in an evening filled with fun, food, and the chance to connect with one another and local law enforcement.
