Join the Teen Library Council at Urbana Regional Library
Frederick County teens aged 11 to 18 are invited to participate in the Teen Library Council (TLC) at the Urbana Regional Library. This engaging program allows tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12 to collaborate with their peers and library staff on planning upcoming library events and teen-led projects. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Small Conference Room, located on the second floor of the library.
The Teen Library Council is more than just a meeting; it is an opportunity for young residents to make a meaningful impact within the library and their wider community. Participants can earn one Student Service Learning (SSL) hour for their involvement, fostering a sense of leadership and community responsibility among local youth.
At the Urbana Regional Library, TLC members will have the chance to share their ideas, collaborate on projects, and contribute to a welcoming environment for all library patrons.
