Maximum Fitness announced that it will be closing its Walkersville location at 8429 Woodsboro Pike in Walkersville. A portion of the letter sent to members can be seen below:

Maximum Fitness would like to say thank you for your support and patronage. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close the Walkersville location after nearly a decade. We will be closing at midnight Monday, 7/15/24.
Your fitness is still our highest priority and we want to ensure your ability to continue exercising as you maintain one of the most important decisions you have made; the commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce we have made special membership arrangements for you at the nearby Soldierfit located at 8420 Gas House Pike Suite Z, Frederick, MD 21701. This membership arrangement will allow you to finish out the month of July with not charge, but with a commitment.
