FREDERICK, Md. – The Division of Public Works, Traffic and Permit Section, announced today that an oversize, overweight load is scheduled to be hauled along Ballenger Creek Pike between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.  This activity has the potential to create delays for local travelers.

The hauling operation will begin at the Doubs Substation, located approximately 1 mile north of MD 464, and end at a construction site approximately 0.3 miles north of Mountville Road.  Motorists planning to use this portion of Ballenger Creek Pike during the hauling operation are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays.
