On February 8, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Opossumtown Pike for a reported theft in progress at a local business.
Upon arrival, Cpl. Spevak located the suspect in a nearby parking lot. A witness positively identified the individual as the shoplifter, and officers placed the juvenile under arrest. During a search incident to the arrest, officers discovered a loaded 9mm Glock 19 handgun concealed in the suspect’s jacket.
The juvenile was taken into custody and placed with the Department of Juvenile Services. The suspect faces multiple charges, including:
