At approximately 11:37 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2024, officers responded to a reported shooting in the area of Steiner Way in Frederick. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim who had sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical care.
Through a preliminary investigation, detectives believe this incident was targeted and isolated, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
