Per the City of Frederick Police Department: The Frederick Police Department is proud to announce the release of its 2023 Annual Report. This comprehensive document highlights the department’s achievements, initiatives, and strategic advancements over the past year, reflecting FPD’s ongoing commitment to transparency, trust, and excellence in public safety.
In 2023, FPD responded to 105,851 calls for service, demonstrating its commitment to efficiency and professionalism. The department’s workforce includes 155 police officers, supported by over 50 communications specialists, records and evidence technicians, and administrative staff.
As we move forward, FPD remains dedicated to finding innovative ways to support and protect our community and our staff. The 2023 Annual Report not only celebrates our past achievements but also serves as a blueprint for future endeavors.
