FREDERICK, Md. – Members of the community are invited to attend Frederick County Government’s Heritage Festival on Friday, June 6 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at Hill Street Park, 100 Hill Street in Frederick.  

Under the theme “We Belong,” this event aims to honor the contributions of all heritages and foster a sense of belonging and inclusion. The festival will honor the rich heritage of Frederick County with live music, dancing, performances, and food. Complimentary Kona Ice will be available from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

The City of Frederick is co-sponsoring the festival along with several other organizations. These sponsors include the Golden Mile Alliance, Centro Hispano, the Frederick County ENOUGH Initiative, the Asian American Center of Frederick, the Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland, the Frederick County Immigrant Affairs Commission, and Nigerians in Frederick.

RSVP is not required to attend. The festival is open to all community members. In the event of rain, the festival will be held at the same time and location on Friday, June 13.
