FREDERICK, Md. – Residents of Frederick County should be aware that landline phones at County Government offices are currently experiencing an outage. Officials have confirmed that this disruption does not affect emergency calls to 9-1-1. In case of an emergency, residents are urged to continue using the 9-1-1 service.
During this outage, County staff can still be reached via alternative methods. Residents are encouraged to use email, contact cell phones, or send text messages to the appropriate division for assistance. A comprehensive list of text lines is available on the county’s website at FrederickCountyMD.gov/TextUs.
Additionally, residents can submit questions or report non-emergency issues through the FCG FixIt app. This mobile application is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store or can be accessed online at FrederickCountyMD.gov/FCGFixIt.
