Family Fun: Connect with COIPP at C. Burr Artz Public Library
Frederick County families are invited to an exciting afternoon of creativity and connection on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the C. Burr Artz Public Library. This family-friendly event will feature hands-on projects designed to inspire and engage participants of all ages, particularly those in the elementary age group.
In addition to the fun activities, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Children of Incarcerated Parents Partnership (COIPP). This vital organization provides essential support, resources, and services to children affected by the incarceration of a loved one, as well as their caregivers and family members who are currently or formerly incarcerated. COIPP plays a crucial role in the Frederick community by addressing the unique challenges faced by these families.
The event promises to be a wonderful occasion for families to bond while also raising awareness about important social issues. Participants can expect a welcoming atmosphere where creativity and education intersect, making it a perfect outing for those looking to enrich their family time.
