2025 Spring Athletic Field & Court Application

Application Period is February 1 – 15th online via Webtrac https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/1095/Athletic-FieldCourt-Rentals 

Application must include certificate of insurance for 1 mil general liability, 2 mil aggregate with The City of Frederick / 101 N Court St / Frederick / MD / 21701 listed as additional insured.

Application MUST include list of contacts for your organization/league which includes first and last names, titles, email addresses, and telephone numbers.  Making reservations is a financial commitment.  We want to ensure that we are only working with persons authorized by your league/organization.  

Making application and paying the deposit does not guarantee that you will be issued a permit per request.

No permits will be issued if there are outstanding balances

If the field/court you request is not available, you will not automatically be assigned an alternate field.  You will have to reapply.  

No equipment may be stored, nor structures (goals etc) built on City property

The City does not line or provide goals for multipurpose fields nor provide equipment

A public notification will be sent when field scheduling is complete.  Be sure to check your account for approved requests.  Requests that are approved will be marked FIRM.  Goal is to complete scheduling of requests made prior to the deadline, by March 1st. Individual status updates prior to the public notice of scheduling completion is not possible due to number of requests. 

Historic priority scheduling may be lost if the application is not made prior to the deadline.

When contacting this office regarding athletic field/court reservations, please be sure to include detailed information – your name, organization, specific field/court, start time, end time, day of week, lights start and end times (if applicable), phone and email contact information.
